The Rivalry: Steelers vs. Ravens
Twice a season it comes to this – sometimes if we’re really lucky, three times – the “absolutely must beat the Ravens” game. I wonder sometimes if the Steelers just have a thing for “must win” games – and therefore, also have a thing for giving Steeler Nation a heart attack every single Sunday. I can’t remember a game when the Steelers blew out the opponent, no matter who they were or how good or bad the opponent might be. Never do I remember a blow out ala the Patriots. I love football, and I love good games, but I would give my terrible towel to see a blow out game in which it was the Steelers with the upper hand. I’m sure though, that it won’t happen this weekend.
Instead, here’s what we have to look forward to:
Ray Ray will likely be in this kind of mood, either you know naturally, or well juiced up. (Stop it Ravens fans, I was kidding
)
And besides, we have an answer to that and it looks like this:
Here’s to hoping Deebo and Woodley have a great day on Sunday.
In fact, I’m guessing your quarterback will look like this, thanks to those two and probably a little Big Snack and some Kiesel.
Meanwhile, our quarterback will look more like this:
and this:
Which then leads to Coach Tomlin looking like this:
Because I don’t know about you, but I certainly don’t want to be the one on the other side of this:
Speaking of that look….it actually must work, because after week three, Rashard looks like this (along with spin moves)
So, c’mon Steelers, can you bring Steeler Nation a win? Can we mix up the offensive play calling a little, in fact, can you just let Ben call the plays? And can we run a little shotgun and no huddle? I want to see a great game, but I want to see one that doesn’t also look like utter chaos. The Steelers are a better team that what we’ve seen recently.
We need this!!!
Go Steelers!

As a Steelers fan living in Baltimore, I loathe the Ravens. I hate everything about them, going back to when they were the Browns.
The depths of my hatred is spelled out here:

I can live with having so-so seasons, as long as we beat the Ratbirds! Here’s to hoping Dixon can pull off some surprises tonight…
