I’ve missed reading your blog. I always enjoy it. I think my Kool-aid has been spiked with some special elixir of serotonin. Of course, this is easy to say before the season starts, but I feel impervious to the heart-attack inducing and blood-pressure raising frustrations of Orioles pitching. I just want the season to start and am dreaming of live visits to see the team. There is just nothing, nothing that compares to being in the stadium on a gloriously warm summer day. You have cheered me good man!

First off, Grevis Vasquez is holding it DOWN for the hispanic hooping community. I haven’t been this excited watching him play since Carlos Arroyo and Pepe Sanchez.

Now I haven’t seen how Maryland’s fared against Duke…but they are a sleeper pick in the tourney. I could easily see Gary Williams getting his squad in the sweet 16. We’ll see.

I used to go to Orioles camp almost everyday to get autographs and I was there the years Javy Lopez, Rafael Palmerio, Sammy Sosa and Miguel Tejada were there, just to name a few. I tried for a week to get Palmerio and Sosa’s autograph, but only got Palmerio. Those were some fun times.

For the Ravens, we shall have our hands full for certain. We are 5-2 on the road in playoffs since 1960-best road winning percentage in the NFL. (.714)

This is a new season, so to speak. And the steaks are high, so hopefully…hopefully Flacco will fare better. He’s been hurt and in his sophomore year he has helped bring us back to the playoffs.
We need D-Mase in this game…!

It’s going to be a nail-biter. Hopefully, there will be no freaking penalties thrown to protect the golden boy of New England and the NFL.
