TG365 - What is it like knowing that you get to learn the NFL game from one of the greatest safeties of all time?
HN -It’s not only great to learn from him but also to just be around him. Going through high school and college you look at him like a superstar, now I’m sitting in the same meetings and locker room with him. It’s just great all together.
TG365 - You were drafted along with Tom Zbikowski. Did the two of you lean on each other through training camp?
HN - Yah we definitely had too. Mostly because neither of us knew what was coming. We really fought through it together and we became close friends in the process.
TG365 - Your YouTube highlight video from Cincinnati has some nice hits on fellow rookie Ray Rice. Have you guys had a chance to look back on those battles?
HN - We throw our blows in there when we get a chance. It’s always good for entertainment.
TG365 - The Bearcats schedule is tough! Have any predictions for your alma mater?
HN - I think they are set for a successful season. There are a lot of experienced players on this team, more than there has ever been before.
TG365 - Have you had a chance to get out and explore Baltimore? Had you ever been to Charm City before being drafted?
HN -I’ve never been here before this whole process started. I’ve become a huge fan of the Inner Harbor area. It’s a very beautiful place.
TG365 - You grew up in the Cleveland area-any family disputes over being drafted by the hated Ravens?
HN - Haha my family has been very supportive of the Ravens thing even though I think it was hard for them at first. But once I got the call every was excited because I still would be around legends like Ozzie and first class people as well such as Kevin Byrne(Also a St. Edward Graduate).
TG365 - What are a few things Ravens fans may not know about you?
HN -I’m actually a big Kenny Chesney fan, I enjoy going to the zoo and aquariums and things of that sort. I actually watch animal planet or the discovery channel the day of or before a game.
