New Look

We switched to a new, cleaner design this weekend so if you get a second please check out the front page and let us know what you think. Removed a lot of sections we never used and expanded others that are growing like the recipes. It is now broken down by food type for easy searching. We're always open to any suggestions.

I like it, but I think there's too much red. Maybe change the color of the article titles?

Thanks for the hard work and time put into this rayray, I know the changes don't seem like a lot but behind the scenes we have been tweaking and planning for months. Love the new logos and look!

yep. i'd make the forum more accessible. i almost thought it was removed.

i'd also suggest some naked chicks and a zombie or 2 on the home page.

How do you guys access the forums? It seems that some are going to front page then here. If that is the case we can certainly add something. The only problem we had (which is why Rabb gave me smiley) is I asked him to remove it from the menu bar because it was making it two lines and didn't look good. We'll get something up.

Anything else you guys want to see on there?

Also, I'd like some more feedback on Yems point about too much red.

I can see how the combination of the section headers being red with the titles of the posts being red can be a little too much red. Could we go with a different color for the titles of the blog posts under each section?

May be silly but I actually go through the front page to get to the forums, I like to (shut up rayray) look at the content that's new then click. So yes, it annoys me also not to have a link front and center.

Ok we'll come up with something. Right now there is a text box on the left top that has a link. Use that for now until we get something better.

i get here from the main page. but if you want NEW people to join, you have to make it easy for them to find the forums.
