I snagged all of the map packs for Domo and me. We played some of the Raam's Shadow campaign (until we hit the glitch at the end of chapter 3 that wouldn't let us continue). I forgot what a great game Gears is. We'll have to get in on some horde mode with you guys one of these days.

Horde mode was crazy last night. Round 1's were all boomers, and gunkers were just randomly thrown in everywhere

It was alot of fun but I've been spoiled with the active reload modulator.

That does lower your xp right?

Yes. For both XP and "Investments" into upgrades

Casual = 60%
Normal = 80%
Hardcore = 100%
Insane = 110%

The modifiers are on top of those percentages so....Casual + Active Reload mutator = 35% XP

You pretty much have to run on Insane if you want to make them all worthwhile other than tearing through 20 waves of Horde without being knocked down.

Played a round of Horde tonight. It was "Classic Horde". No purchased upgrades, just the old standard GoW 2 Horde

edit: Let me rephrase that. Classic Horde in the sense there are no upgrades, New Horde in that there are still bosses at the 10/20/30/40/50 levels.
