Migraine

Postby Clem » March 26th, 2012, 2:41 pm

I'm not sure if it's a migraine or what, but holy balls, I have a world class headache today. It started like a sinus headache behind my eyes and has progressed to feeling like my skull is going to crack open. It's so bad that it's even dicking up my vision. I took some generic version of Excedrin Migraine about an hour ago and I'm starting to feel a little relief.

Pig candy and a Fat Tire would make me forget all about my headache.

And a nice room-temperature beer. Perhaps in a red plastic cup.

I've had exactly one migraine in my life, and it sounds like what you're describing. Lost all my peripheral vision, couldn't focus my eyes, just wanted to lay there in a dark room with a cool towel on my face. So I did.

Hope you feel better, man. Not much you can do besides medicate and rest.

I probably should have just laid down in a dark room, but there was no way my wife would allow for something like that. Whenever I'm sick, it's always time for her to vaccuum. I got more peace just hanging out in my office and pretending to work from home. I still feel like refried shit and now I have to take Domo to swim practice, which I guarantee is not going to make me feel any better.

There is a reason I have so much sick time accumulated. Be careful driving. I know when I had that one that I had to pull off and let her drive because I couldn't see well enough.

And I would ram that vacuum cleaner up somebody's ass if they ran it after I told them why I am hiding out in the dark. Don't need peripheral vision for that, it's a pretty straight shot.
