Metal March

Postby ptrain86 » March 2nd, 2012, 7:52 am

Good deals at Amazon on metal for the month. I lost most of my music years back when someone broke into my car and took all my shit. I know it was dumb to have all my music in the car... especially after it was all stolen. Too drunk to drive home... come back and my shit is smashed. Sad thing is the a holes probably didn't even like most of it.

Bring your external harddrive to St Louis. Problem solved.

I was looking through the Amazon mp3 albums on sale this month and came across this:

http://www.amazon.com/Greatest-Hits-Explicit/dp/B000YMJA7I/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1331661229&sr=8-1

Guns N Roses 'Greatest Hits' for $0.25.

Yes it is a greatest hits collection and nothing can touch 'Appetite' but for a quarter I think it's probably worth the cloud storage or whatever portable device you are using.

.25 for a full album and the individual songs still sell at .99 each, that is awesome

I am not a big metal guy but they have a free sampler too

 I was thinking that too.

I have most of the stuff already but there is tons of good stuff for $3.99 mp3 downloads like Rush (Gold, a 2 disc great hits package), Megadeth, Soundgarden, Guns N Roses, The Cult, Iron Maiden, etc.

Tool is still on the anti-mp3 bandwagon. A Perfect Circle or Karnivool is as close as you're gonna get unless, you know, if someone had all that stuff and could get it to you somehow.

I figured you would appreciate the Rush or Queen but probably already have them. I celebrate their entire catalog. :D

I didn't realize Queen was in there, I have Greatest Hits 1 & 2 but might be persuaded to pick up some actual albums if the price is right.

I have tons of Rush, I have not one but two friends who have all the CD's.

Actually I think it was one of the Queen greatest discs and only a few others.

They have The Wall 2011 Remaster for 6 bucks, did they cut out anything when they did that or is it still the original songs? I have been meaning to pick that up for a while. Used to have it on cassette but don't have any idea where it would be these days.

Remember to check Google Play daily for their .25 album. They also had the GnR Hits the other day.

Ray how do I find the .25 album at Google Play? I see some free tracks from SXSW but nothing like what you mentioned.
