AC Revelations for 30 bucks today at Amazon. I just started Brotherhood, but isn't Brotherhood like an 'extra' game that doesn't really factor into the main storyline?

They have released so many versions I am lost as to what is what.

I thought the trilogy was AC, AC2 and AC:Revelations, and Brotherhood was just an extra 'filler' game before Revelations came out. And I think you get to play as Altair in Revelations no? So it's a two-logy.

As I've stated in the past, it's easier for me to just make something up and represent it as fact than to actually look up the real answer.

Originally, it was suppose to be AC1, AC2, and AC3. After they made AC2, they wanted to continue Enzio's story, so they made Brotherhood and Revelations before making AC3
