Well done Eddie

Postby RayRay » March 12th, 2012, 1:42 pm

Is it possible to prove which is the worst film of all time? Maybe not, but the Rotten Tomatoes reviews aggregator is as good a measuring device as any, and the new Eddie Murphy comedy, A Thousand Words, has achieved a remarkable 0% rating as of Monday morning.

While an unexpectedly positive review may arrive from some hitherto overlooked corner of the film-reviewing universe, A Thousand Words has drawn a solid 39 negative reviews out of 39 on the site.

Pluto Nash has a 6% score, and Norbit has 9% - so I'd figure he was already in the conversation for worst reviewed film of all time.

He has 13 films that are more than 4 out of every 5 reviews being a bad one. Wow. I know that most critics are too snobby for their own good, and throw their weight behind some pretty shitty movies in the name of "art", but to get more than 4 out of every 5 of these pretentious pricks to agree on anything is an accomplishment.

And I liked Norbit.
That tranny incident ruined Axel Foley. Bring back the leather suits and fuck your pc child friendly image Eddie, for the sake of raunchy hilarious comedy.

Amen to that. I'm sick of "family friendly" Eddie. The Nutty Professor was funny, but he lost a ton of steam with the movies after. Give me the Eddie who wanted to marry a bush bitch and taunted other kids over ice cream because they couldn't afoooooooorrrrd iiiiiit!
