The Black Keys

Postby ElmanJo » December 2nd, 2011, 11:43 am

5 new album tracks are streaming up on their website in return of your spam email address.
Also they will be on this weeks SNL and there is a streaming concert of theirs via MTV on Monday. Hope to see it on Paladium!

These guys are about to blow up.

Yeah, I guess so looking at their Winter concert schedule they are all big arena venues. No more clubs for them.

Their last album was top 5 on Billboard. I think this SNL is a repeat but they are making their big media push right now. Either way they make great music.

Hadn't checked them out before, though I'd heard Lonely Boy at some point, but checking them out now on Spotify and digging it.

Buddy of mine asked me if I wanted to go see them in March. He has a buddy at the arena who might be able to get us a little upgrade on the tix. Heck yeah I am going.

They've been on my MP3 player for awhile...I totally dig them...I discovered them through Pandora, as they were considered similar to Jack White/White Stripes.

They're okay but everything I've heard so far sounds like the background music to some hippie car commercial.
Fuck-it list: Owls, Ohio, Facebook, Red Wings.

They do have a pretty homogeneous sound.
