I've had this happen to me. One pound from the giant's club and I was in the ionosphere.

And I agree that this is one of those games where you lose track of time. I think I played the first 4 hours and it hadn't even occurred to me to save the game because I thought I'd only been playing for a few minutes.

I have put maybe 6 hours in and haven't progressed the main story that much. Just doing a bunch of side missions.

It's not really a glitch. I think it's just that giants can whoop up on your puny ass in short order. And you can't outrun them, either. If you get one chasing you I guess the only thing you could do is go invisible and then run your tiny ass off and hope he doesn't see you when you re-materialize.

Actually, I'm picking up SR3 tonite on the way home. If anything can cause me to take Skyrim out of my machine, that would be it.

I will be back at Skyrim later, I'm sure. Need to level up my pickpocketing.

Giants are bitches. I can kick their asses. My shield takes takes the brunt of their club and my Skyforge steel sword hacks'em to pieces

It is on my list to go back and take out some giants once I level up some more. Not sure how this dragon stuff works, I killed three and went through the training, but only have the one set of yells.

You need to find them. What you can do is go back to the Greybeards (where you got the training) and talk to the head guy there. Every couple of days you can talk to him and get a location of a shout. Once you locate the shout, you then activate it with one of your dragon souls

Are they actually called the greybeards or did you invent that (awesome) nickname?

Thanks for that Yem. I was wondering what was up. I've killed 7 or 8 dragons, but my shouts haven't increased. I do have a fire-breath dealio, but it's currently locked. Time to visit the Greybeards. ;)

You are making me change my opinion of Patriot fans. They're not all as bad as Phillie fans after all.

I'll bet you will love it. If I'm on after the podcast feel free to hit me up if you have questions.
