I like the way Paterno came out and said 'i'll retire so the board of regents doesn't have to discuss it anymore' and board of regents was like all, 'um no, you aren't the boss anymore pal, pack up your shit tomorrow'

I love how these dumbass students are rioting in the street in support of a bunch of people who thought football was more important than stopping the rape of young boys.

The big picture is that people are more concerned with upholding the appearance of the establishment. Its sad that men in position of power are more than happy to look away and allow things like this to occur. These large institutions are more concerned with the almighty dollar and possibly being tarnished than about human lives and that people get destroyed in the process.

Also, with the rioting... those students might as well pack their bags. There was one here in the 90s over the drinking age, and anyone caught on film got Das Boot... kids. I saw a sign that said We love you, Jopa. Seriously? I love how kids just wanna get out there and protest something to be part of the moment.

I wouldn't be surprised if that turned out to be accurate. I think it's pretty telling that when Sandusky was told to pick coaching or pick his foundation that he walked away from coaching.

The rioting PSU students furthers the notion of Happy Valley as Jonestown. I have to think Paterno's don't spend one minute discussing my future to the BOT played a big roll in him being fired.

Now it;s time for Mike McQueary to be fired. He can go cry on his daddies shoulder after he's gone.

I've also hear the Sandusky / Second Mile "Pimping" rumor as well.

McQueary won't attend as he has received death threats. This whole debacle has gotten so weird that this is the most sensible thing I've heard in two days.

PSU had to give Osbourne a plan on how they are going to keep Nebraska fans/players/coaches safe. Honestly I'd be a little worried after seeing that mob the other night.
