I think Detroit gets the move to the east before Columbus does. They've been asking for years.
I think this one also preserves some old rivalries, too. Not too bad, to be honest.

I don't think its a bad thing. I also see Detroit going to the east before Columbus.

Does it make sense to have Wash/Pitt in different divisions? I honestly don't know enough about NHL scheduling to answer that. Would they play less or does it not matter as long as you are in same conference?
