Is Gears dead for everyone? We played boom snipes this weekend and last night spent some time with horde but it looks like everyone has moved on. From what I'm reading there is a special mutator turned on today but I won't spoil it for all you BF'ers and your BFF's.

I wouldn't call it "dead", but I'd say it's taking a nap for a while. My attention is on BF3 right now, and will be for the next two weeks until Saints Row 3 comes out.

Not dead for me. In fact, this, BF3, and some Halo are my MP rotation this year.

I am happy about the new fortifications because my wife will have more to gloat over me when she gets them maxed out (right now she has everything at max except the decoy which is level 5 and the silverback which is about 2/3 progress toward level 2)

There's just too much that came out. I have been tweaking cars in Forza and playing BF mostly, but still want to rock some Gears and get some hockey in. Just don't have enough time.

When I first read about the delay i figured it would be a few hours, but still release today. Now I'm reading that it will be days before the DLC release. BOOO EPIC I PAYED MY MONEY I WANT DLC NOW NOW NOW I AM BOYECOTING YOU'RE COMPANY

I heard there will be a double XP event from Nov 1-14 to make up for the delay. Anyone confirm?
