I second that statement. Nice to see some other hitters stepping up... been much better with Hairston in the lineup that's for sure.

Cards played better to win it. Still not sure why Gallardo wasn't used on short rest because Marcum has been getting lit up for over a month, but the Crew made a great run and it was nice to be excited about baseball in October.

Those last two games, with all the Brewer errors, were just embarrassing. It was like watching the Keystone Cops.
