P90X

Postby pjray26 » July 12th, 2011, 8:16 am

I'm taking a couple of weeks off before I start P90X. Any advice? Should I start heavy or start light, or just go with the flow? I'm sure I can look on here and see some folks already using P90X. So if I notice anything (positive or negative) I'll pass along.
Thanks all.

IMO...start with the classic, and ease into it because unless you are in decent shape already it is an ass kicker

good luck buddy!

Thanx, Rabb. That's always the thing right, we all THINK we are in decent shape, then a whole different work out routine will make you think again. Thanks for the INFO though.

Didn't think it was worth a new thread but starting P90x on Monday. Made it through the first 3 weeks last time before my blood decided to coagulate and log itself in my lungs in various places. I have more than put back on the 10 lbs I lost originally and really feel it. Not sure if I am truly ready but I am going to ease into it as much as you can being P90x.

Back in the day, Endurox R4 seemed to be a popular recovery type drink. Any other recommendations?

I have been doing P90octoberfest with decent results.

:D

My neighbor actually bought this a few months ago and does not use so I may give it a whirl. Between that and roller hockey starting up next week it will be a 100 percent improvement over what I am doing now.

I need to get back into something but to be honest over the last couple months, I have been pretty happy being fat and lazy.

Fuzz (lost as he is now) was doing Insanity also...I may try that after this round. Thanks bro, this time I want to stick closer to the diet. I am at my target weight so now it's just strength and getting rid of the fat I have.

Keep us up to date on your progress, and I would like to know more about your challenge thing.
