Texas A&M leaving Big 12

I really hope that A&M is undefeated when the meet OU. They will see the same 16-2 discrepancy in penalties NU did against A&M, if not worse. I have a few A&M grads I know that will deserve a "How's it feel, bitch?" when that happens.

How many years does the Big 12 have left at this point? They going to poach some from Mountain West or something?

Rumors so far are adding SMU, Houston, or Memphis. They'd be better off not adding anyone for those garbage teams. Memphis could be interesting since their basketball program has quality but its kind of pathetic to compare with what the other conferences are doing. As of now I'm hoping the Big10 gets antsy and offers an invite to Kansas and Missouri next year.

I think this is the end of the Big 12. OU isn't going to sit and hope someone picks them up when the dust settles, the Big East doesn't want to get poached to the point where they're as relevant as the MAC, and Notre Dame will make the jump to a super conference once they see them start to form.

Also, I hear that Texas...er...the Big 12 is possibly looking at BYU, along with the teams Phogasm mentioned (although I hadn't heard Memphis yet).

I don't think the Big East even cares about football. They want to be the basketball power so I see them going after Duke and NC hard after this year.
