It wouldn't hurt so much if he wouldn't trade it on a whim for like $5 or a blowjob from a homeless guy.

My pick out of those listed. The 30$ more is because of hardware: chrome tuners (more dependable than die-cast) and solid spruce top (built for louder, sustain response). I like those pack bundles as starter kits.

Not a fan of the acoustic/electic with built in tuners like in one of the others listed.

found it on our good friend Amazon for $181 with free shipping and I had a $10 gift card I forgot about, so $171

I'm starting to get pretty good callouses on my fretting fingertips. It's weird when I type, though, because I can't really feel my left hand fingertips. It's like they're numb.

That's a good thing.

Congrats Rabb! Elwood can already play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star so you've got some catching up to do!

Here's a link to what I think is hands down the best website for teaching guitar. Yes, it costs money to subscribe, but they are really well done videos that IMO are probably the next best thing to live lessons. When you subscribe to level 2 you get access to all of their videos of which there are an unreal amount. They have everything from absolute begginer courses to theory to intermediate and advanced and every style you might be interested in. My only problem is that being a little ADD, I tend to jump from course to course and don't ever stick to one long enough to finish.

Ofcourse. The first step in becoming a rock star is impressing your five year old. Although I think we all would be impressed if he made a video of him playing it. . . .
