Smurf movie

Somehow they go from their cute little village to Times Square. Good cast so I hope they don't f this up

In addition to the human actors -- Sofia Vergara from "Modern Family" also plays a role -- the Smurfs are voiced by a wide range of comedic talents. Legendary standup Jonathan Winters plays Papa Smurf, George Lopez is Grouchy, "SNL's" Fred Armisen is Brainy, and Paul Reubens (aka Pee Wee Herman) voices Jokey Smurf. Plus, pop superstar Katy Perry makes her movie debut as the voice of Smurfette.

My fear is how they are just making the 80s happen all over again with all of this nostalgia stuff.

I don't know how they could possibly make this any good. I liked watching the show when I was a kid on Saturday mornings, but to make a live action movie with them is a stretch. This is giving me flashes of the horrible He-Man movie that came out a while back.

They are desperate for ideas. I just saw in the front page post by TJ that they are doing a movie version of The Equalizer.
