Okay, I just posted this, but it disappeared into the depths of the interwebz I guess...

I have a "thing" for creepy looking rabbits, and it indeed developed when I first played Bioshock...

@ Johnny: First, I shun you for not playing Bioshock...Second, you will see my collection of creepy rabbits on facebook... :D
And The Human Centipede was disturbing...and I normally dig disturbing, but that one seemed extreme for extreme's sake...

In my defense, there were quite a few games I had purchased around that time, and I never had time to play Bioshock.

You chose....poorly.

It's what I hate about fall...there are so many great releases, that something slips. Plus, Halo was out shortly after.

Well, grab it now. I'm sure you can get the first one on the cheap and it's well worth it. One of the best single player games I've played.

I'll get a copy on the cheap sometime this summer. Right now, LA Noire is taking up my single player time. And with baseball starting up next week, I don't have time for 2 SP titles.

I thought Bioshock 2 was underwhelming, but #1 is a must play

Bioshock is the first game I ever played that gave me a genuine emotional reaction to things I'd done. And, as a father of daughters, you know what I'm talking about.

I don't think its cheating, its just a different experience. I create my own voices in my head, which create the characters for me. I don't have too much interest, but I did borrow a history set on CD and if had to read it, I'd never make it. Listening to it in the car makes me space out some as well. However, if people need that to get through a book, that's better than nothing. Some people have a hard time comprehending/focusing while reading. While I don't consider it the same, its better than the alternative. I agree with Bas, yuck, though, I like the smell, tactile experience, etc. of reading a book. However, most of mine is done in the bathroom. :ovie:

I doubt that's the book you're smelling.

A friend got me some audio books. I am digging it, but also have copies in print as well. It does make the drive to and from work better.

my parents are enormous fans of audio books, they read a lot also but they love them for trips

apparently you can check them out from certain places (yes the library I know) like Cracker Barrel and return them to wherever you end up if they have one

nice. I didn't think I'd get into an actual story (did a history cd collection), but the reader is pretty good.
