Last Stand of the 300

Have any of you seen this? It's a cool documentary about the 300.

Yeah, one of the few decent movie tie-in shows that History Channel managed to do. And with nary a glimpse of Gerard Butler lookalikes...

Saw it a while ago, they were really on the ancient battle kick for a while. It was nice seeing it without the glitz of the movie.

watched the last 15 mins of it last night on HI.

I DL'd it from XBL when it first came out but never watched and ended up deleting cuz it was taking up valuable space.

What I found fascinating about the documentary is how the Greek Navy choked the Persian Navy off from flanking the 300 (plus the other 7,000) and the fact that the "last stand" on day 3 of the battle was the 300 plus 1,000 Thespians (which happens to be one of the little unknown facts). Also, had Xerxes not found out about the pass that allowed him to flank Leonidas then history would be much different.
