Trade Deadline Wrap-Up

Who won? Who lost? What confuses you? etc etc.

I mean, we all know the Nuggets won. So if there is a 2nd place, feel free to chime in on that.

I don't really understand the Baron Davis to Cleveland trade. Nor do I fully get the Celtics' Perkins for Thunder's Jeff Green.

The Celtics trade confuses me and I will be shocked if Baron actually shows in Cleveland.

I don't know why it's confusing

Celtics needed some perimeter help and OKC needed a big man...now, relying on Shaq and Garnett in the middle to stay healthy, that is a little concerning

Yes they needed perimeter help, but they also need their big men. They got trashed in rebounding against the lakers in the finals.

Jermaine out for an other 6-8 weeks (or more) Who knows when Shaq's Achilles will heal. Semih Erden and the new guy Krstic. KG can't play the whole game

I don't like them betting the farm on these old oft injured O'neals and the "primetime" duo of Erden and Krstic

well, I hear ya' but Perkins is coming off of an injury himself so it's not like you just traded Dwight Howard away

it's a gamble, that's for sure

Well, the C's also traded Erden, so they are really thin at the C spot

I read where Green has refused any extension talks with OKC, so that was the reason they moved him, & They wanted a big man, Perkins solves that.

But I don't see how it helps the Celtics. Green is a good player & will be a solid contributor, but this trade (nor the other random trade the C's made) puts them in the finals.

Was surprised to see Gerald Wallace go to Portland also. I really wish he could get on a team that I can actually watch play. When he was with the Kings, he rarely got to play. The Bobcats are never on TV. And this season I don't think I've seen Portland play at all.
