Worst losing streak of all time OR nearly the worst single season of all time.

Which is worse?

and I thought the Kings of the late 80s early 90s were the worst team ever.

That would fall to my Sixers who in the 72-73 season went 9 and 73.

Follow directions.

I go Cavs-those boys have had their hearts ripped out.

Funny response RayRay. I flipped on a group of posters on UVA's message board TheSabre.com the other night for the same thing. I was looking for this:

http://marchtomarch.fantake.com/2010/12 ... nba-draft/

Looking for a little factoid of "what if all the UNC players stayed 4 yrs..."
And sure enough. Everyone chimed in "Well imagine if Kevin Durant stayed at Texas", "Imagine if Tyreke Evans & Derrick Rose stayed at Memphis." ... Yea, those teams would have had 1 or 2 NBA-talent guys the next year on a team of college players. Big woop! BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY YOU DIDN'T ANSWER MY QUESTION.

My point was: Imagine how stacked this UNC team would have been with a starting line-up of all NBA All-Stars & 3-4 bench guys that are NBA-Talent level.

But to respond to you Jammer, Thanks. I couldn't remember who the actual worst full-season record holder was. I could only remember the year that Denver only won 11 or 12 games and then failed to win the draft & get Tim Duncan.

Yeah sorry for going off course. I was going off of Sabres post about the Kings.

For the topic I would go with the Cavs. Though Cleveland really is a land of misery so it is normal for the city.

Kinda leads me to my next question:
Are the Cleveland Cavaliers really that bad? Like, was LeBron so good that he could lift that sorry group of players to the top of the NBA? And now its just showing that he was justified in leaving?

I'm stumbling about this question. I hope it makes since. Like, is that franchise so sad & distraught over losing LeBron that they just can't win? Or are they really just that bad & LeBron was just that good?

I'm not saying that LeBron handled everything right or that I really like LeBron. I think he's caught a bit of a bad rap for his "decision" to go to Miami. I just think that the Cavaliers bloody awful record is just proof that LeBron was justified in leaving.

In the end, I think he shouldn't have teamed up with 2 other All-Stars & taken the easy way out. I stand by criticisms that MJ, Magic, & Chuck had when they said "Magic & Bird would have NEVER teamed up. They were too competitive." LeBron will never be viewed in the same light as those greats of the 80s & 90s because no matter how my rings he wins with Miami, he didn't do it on his own. He'd have to go to a 3rd team & win OR win in a year when D-Wade was out for a huge-portion of the season & all of the playoffs. (I don't think Bosh is all he's hyped up to be. He's an All-Star b/c for years he was the only big-man in the East & he scored a lot on a sucky team in Toronto. For all that, call Andre Blatche a superstar).

So are the Cavaliers really that awful? Or are they just heart-broken? And is LeBron really THAT GOOD to lift a bunch of sorry sacks to the top of the NBA?

Bron leaves and they fire Mike Brown. Danny Ferry quits. They start rebuilding.

Compare scoring
2009-2010
James - 29.7
Jamison - 18.7
Mo Williams - 15.8
Shaq - 12.0
West - 12.0
Varejao - 8.6

They had capable big men to support great guard play.

2010-2011
Jamison - 17.3
Williams - 13.6
Gibson - 13.0
Hickson - 12
Sessions - 11.8

Jamison should not be your leading scorer at this point in his career.
Their stats are way down across the board. They have the worst point differential in the league (-11.2%). When you score 94 and give up 105....

Ehh... they lost LeBron & Shaq. I thought the firing of Coach Mike Brown was a bad & desperate move. Danny Ferry left too. But they have kept many of their core players from last year.

I'll go with the Cavs on this one...plus, even The Onion can't help but ridicule them.
