Yeah, I think Netflix has season one streaming although I don't think they include the original mini-series. This is a series that really has to be watched in order, at least for the first couple of seasons.

Do I need to watch the mini series first then? Or just rock season one on Netflix?

The mini series was the attack on the 12 colonies. Which served as a back door pilot. The show picks up right after the attack. You don't need to see the miniseries (2 part, 3 hours) but it wouldn't hurt

You could watch season one w/out the miniseries, but there are a couple of pretty big plot points in it that you might not catch right away. Just my opinion, but I'd watch the miniseries first. Netflix has it on disk, and I know a lot of Blockbusters do as well.

What's the name of the miniseries? I have the season on queue and there are some movies mentioned like Razor, Caprica, and the Plan... I'm assuming these aren't it.

I think it's just called Battlestar Galactica Miniseries and it's listed on Netflix as part of season one.



I'm pretty sure there are a couple of other places you can find it online, too. (wink wink, nudge nudge)

I would definitely say watch the mini series first. There are some pretty big things that you may not pick up on right away if you just start with the season.
