Only caught a couple games, but basketball in the NBA is always hit or miss for me. They started out against some pretty good teams and just haven't played with the intensity I saw them play with last year. However, the last few games they've stepped it up and played with more intensity. They have some really good players, but in order to stay in games, need to keep Skiles' demand for constant hustle and defensive presence. I know a lot of you guys don't follow too closely, but I do enjoy it when teams in the NBA play hard nosed, which usually doesn't happen until the playoffs... but Milwaukee needs that night in and night out, especially because of the lack of a true stud.

Pounded the Hawks. Got to watch most of the game. Went to see highlights on ESPN and got to see nothing but footage of John Wall... and not one highlight of the Rockets who were actually winning for much of the game. Too bad the Heat had off, that would've made for a whole Sportscenter.

Their offense is clicking. Added Gooden and Maggette. Took awhile for them to flow together. Bogut looks pretty good after that dislocated elbow. Nice to see him mature on the court the way he has. I honestly thought he was going to be a jobber. Arguably the 2nd best center in the East.

I really hope Brandon Jennings becomes the next best PG in line. I mean, seems like Deron, CP3, & D-Wade are 1 generation. Derrick Rose, Brandon Jennings, & John Wall could be the next. Did I forget anyone?

the nice thing about Jennings is that he's buying into the team. His biggest knock was being an Iverson clone, but he usually looks to pass first and shoot second unless he's feeling it. That 50+ performance last year was a clinic, but I'm glad he didn't just decide that he can do that whenever he wants.

Yea, I like your post on Jennings. I actually forgot that 50 pointer from last season. I think so far this season he's been a 18pt 10 assist guy. And thats good for them. I think having Skiles as the head coach has really helped Jennings. I'm glad his European experiment worked out for him, although he didn't play much, he learned a lot. It won't work for everyone, but maybe it will help keep college basketball from just becoming a stop-gap for these 1 and done players.

Yeah. That time must have helped him realize that teams won't put up with the me first type player. For him not to play much over there and to show up in the NBA and have such a stellar rookie season, it makes you wonder if the pine was the most influential reason over his play style now.

I would like to thank the Bucks for letting the Sixers actually win a game.

Yeah. The Bucks need to play hard every game. They can beat anyone, and lose to anyone.
