I want to mention that if any of you are thinking of doing this you have to make sure to take in lots of cals protein without lots of fat. Like your egg whites lean mets etc. A buddy of mine lost 90 pds on it. From fat as can be cheesesteak king to ripped athlete. His tip for breakfast was egg white omelettes. Frozen veggie bags and some muscle milk powder mixed with water. Keeps u feeling full all day

Can you put Old Bay in the muscle milk powder?

I think I'm going to go the Power 90 route to start. I am in rough shape. Closer to 300 than 200, getting winded going up and down the stairs and such now. Haven't done weights for ages. Can't seem to find a place in this fucking house to put up a pull-up bar, either.

I am actually starting P90x Monday, I have been doing Power 90 the last 2 weeks and I need to ramp the intensity up. I am looking forward to everything except the Yoga, and the amount of calories I need to eat.

When I did it before I subbed in Cardio X, this time I might actually stick with the yoga, I am an inflexible bastard and pretty uncoordinated.

See, for the me the yoga part of P90X is easy, because its' the one activity I can do without worrying about the low ceiling in the basement.

On the diet topic, I am going to try something different this time around. There is no way in hell I can eat as many as they recommend, it just won't happen. I am going to just try and eat better, watch the fats and sugars and carbs. Sorry, but I cannot eat a half dozen eggs every morning...even just the whites.

if you can do the yoga they do for 90 minutes, I salute you. I am 225 lbs, and I look like a 3 legged dog fucking a door knob for most of it.

I'm in phase 3 and the longer I've done yoga x, the shorter it seems. It actually seems like one of the shorter workouts now, and I almost look forward to it.

I'm with Rabb on the diet thing. I followed the diet the best I could for the first three weeks and there is just no way I can eat that many calories in a day, much less that many egg whites. I just try to keep it as low Carb as possible and get as much lean protien as I can.
