They introduced Jack Johnson during the 3rd period, had just come from the airport. Said all the right things about being excited to be there, etc, etc, as his new team gets completely pwned by a very average seeming Avs team. Anyway, here's hoping Nash gets a chance to be successful somewhere, if not here, and that this club and get their shit together for next season.
Didn't get much for still shots but had my flip cam with me. Tried to get a couple of shots that show just how vertical this place is. Means that even near the top, the view is still really good. Unless you have an issue with heights, in which case it makes you really uncomfortable.
Guy on my right here is Dan. Bartender pal/skinny game geek/Avs fan. I gave him a ton of shit last night. Guy on my left is Duncan, recently back from two tours as a light machine gunner in Iraq. I gave him less shit.
And, just to toot my own horn a little bit, here's me last year in the same jersey, filling it out far more completely than I do today.
