I won't miss Dale, his pious attitude or his monster eyebrows.

I will miss his hat.

And, FM I agree. that would have been an awesome scene/story arc

Actually, I'm going to miss Dale. Granted, he was a whiney pain in the ass, but I saw him as neccessary. He is the little angel on everyone's shoulder telling them to do what is right, while Shane is the devil, dragging them to the dark side. Everyone else is stuck in the middle, confused daily on what the right thing to do might be. Not Dale, he has a strong moral compass that points true North. Not Shane either, who wants to set himself up as a renegade, Post Apocalyptic bad-ass who will take what he wants and crush anyone in his way. It was this dynamic that helped to drive the drama. Not sure what's goning to happen now.

I don't know, I always hated how he came off as some liberal do-gooder, but I will say after reading through the comics (I am only in the 50's) that he is much different there and I pretty much hate him equally although he isn't as whiny.

I just look at it as while I respect him wanting to keep some form of civility and humanity, the rules are different in their world and you cannot look at everything that way. It especially annoyed me that he said "let's just leave it to a vote and I will go with it" and when they voted, he got bitchy...so in other words "let's vote but only if it's my way"

Nice work Dale, you are now every female on the planet

The difference between Walking Dead Show Dale and Comics Dale is that in the comics Dale was getting a piece of ass. Half your age ass at that. That alone made him more tolerable and less whiny.

Listening to this podcast reminded me of something that annoyed them as well, when Andrea and Shane were talking about things just outside of where Randall was...that seemed stupid and obviously setup
