We watched this on netflix instant last night. I wasn't expecting much but the description sounded funny--a gang of 7-year old child investigators who never really outgrew their kid detective agency suddenly stumbles upon a real case. Now I loved Encyclopedia Brown and the Three Investigators as a kid. Every mystery exactly the same, only the names are changed.
Well this movie was surprisingly entertaining. It's got Troy from Community in it, that guy is great. I don't know if this movie is for everyone, if you're incredibly picky (like my jackass co worker who I won't even recommend movies to any more), it's probably not for you but if you like a good stupid comedy, it's got some pretty funny moments. My favorite: when the 'kids' have to follow someone into a Gentleman's Club, so they run off to grab their Gentlemen disguises and walk up to the door with monocles and top hats.
