I enjoyed it but they don't keep it out there too long. Bars seem to want to get to the summer and winter brews quickly with minimal time on the spring and fall ones.

that would take away the enjoyment of having it at that time of year, imo. i love sam adams' old fezziwig. but i'm glad they only put it out during the holidays.

I think it depends on where you drink. The bars/restaurants/brewpubs that attract people wanting good beer (or places producing their own) will slow down and have a steady supply of maibocks, whites and wheats out. Majority of places won't and will jump straight to "hey its getting warm come drink corona and red stripe mon!!!" I'm trying to hold on to winter beers as long as I possibly can.

Lamb I always get sad when my last Oktoberfest is gone-by far my favorite beer drinking time of the year.

I agree with Houdini on this one. I like it but Nobel Pils is better.

their summer ale has a zesty flavor to it while the spring is a lot more mellow and smooth. not to mention it's a lager, not an ale.

btw, it's immeasurably better going down than coming up.
