I love college football. Bama's defense was a whole lotta bad ass. Playoffs are needed really bad though but sadly it would take a miracle to get them.

Anybody catch Barry Sanders Jr in that high school game? Picked Stanford over Bama FSU and Okie State. Made me feel old as shit.

Final Four BCS system?

Bowl Championship Series executive director Bill Hancock said Thursday that conference commissioners will present a "small number" of options for a four-team playoff to their leagues.

Now it's up to each conference to determine which option it likes best. The commissioners will get back together in June and try to come up with a final version of a new way to determine a national champion.

The idea is to create a football final four with two national semifinals and a championship game. But many details need to be worked out.

Hancock warned that if no consensus is reached, the fallback would be sticking with an overhauled version of the old system, which aims for a No. 1 vs. No. 2 championship game.

Once they realize they can promote the piss out of this and make shitloads of cash, they will probably move it up to 8. Wait, its college football... they'll have an all division 1 team playoff if they can make money... and maybe include some 1AA teams as well.
