He's a decent #2, although still a penalty machine. He's nowhere near a #1, which is how he's being paid. He had more penalties last year than Revis has had his entire career. While that's an anomaly, he's still way worse than most of the league - counting #2 CBs as well - in penalties. And there wasn't a #1 WR that didn't torch him last year. Al fucked up big time giving him #1 WR money as a knee jerk reaction to losing Nnamdi.

You do see my point though, that given talent around him he COULD be worth that money?

Actually, I know you don't so never mind.

He could be closer, but I just think 11 million for a #2 corner is way too much. Doesn't the average #2 make about half that these days?

Especially considering Nnamdi is only making 12M/year.

Read an article today I think by Bloomberg that rumors are Sunday Ticket will be reduced by around 40% to $199 for the season.

Not a rumor. Sunday Ticket will be 199 for ST and the game mix channel. A max package with Red zone, the shortened replays through the week, and Sunday Ticket to Go will be 299.

I dont like losing Rout as he was decent and had a lot to teach the younger guys but he was no 10 or 11 mill DB.

Bush wanted to be a starter, or at least get starter money, and went to a team where he is backing up the Marshall Faulk 2.0.

Boss should of been kept and Wimbley probably wanted to get out.

Palmer was a fiasco given what we gave.

Al Davis' contracts and Hue Jackson's lust for the Iron Throne have set a decent .500 team back at least 3 years if we're lucky.

You know for years I was so anxious to see a Davis-less draft by my Raiders and I will have to wait till next year to see who they get with at least a top 5 pick. Given we still have it by then.

You guys doing anything for the draft? I watch it all for the most part, it's a sickness. Other than that will be a normal Thursday, dress up a hooker as a Raiderette and choke him to death. Nothing fancy.

I always watch also. Since I watch a lot of college ball it's cool to see kids make that step to the next level. Nothing special though just beer and tv.

Usually all the guys from my fantasy league get together and watch it. Pretty standard for the last three or four years. Game 7 for the Rangers will probably change that this year for me.

Sorry have to gloat a little: Also with the 32nd pick it will be a long night. Gmen will take whoever they feel is the mot talented guy left on the board.

I just watch highlights and do a little research on who the Packers take after the fact. They need help pressuring the qb big time. The d backs looked awful last year, but when the opposing qb starts getting food catered in behind his line, he's a little too comfy back there.
