Was watching the start of the game at Skyline Chili with all the gals when Tebow ran that first one in. I yelled out, "Touchdown, Football Jesus!", and then had to spend five minutes explaining that Tim Tebow was not actually THE Jesus that they learn about in Sunday School.

Yeah I am on call at work and couldn't get out of it, so I couldn't go.

My favorite part of all of this will be that even though we will lose to a 10-2 (11-2) team, we will hear about how we weren't for real before.

Whatever, no sour grapes...nice win for the Pats.

11-3 actually.

Anyway, I'd say the Broncs are for real rabb. They came out swinging. That D and that rushing attack is crazy, and Tebow is getting better at slinging the ball around. 1st quarter had me VERY nervous.

That 2nd quarter made all the difference. Those mistakes don't happen, we're probably looking at a much closer game.... but once the Pats got up a bit, it took Denver out of what they do best.

Also, that hit Elvis put on Brady was nasty

NFL Week 15 Chatter

Postby Jammer » December 18th, 2011, 8:47 pm

Eagles need to win the next two, have the Jets beat the Giants next week, and the Giants beat the Cowboys in the final game to win the division.

This basically means my January is going to be free.

Believe it or not that would happen if the things I posted happen. Like I said not likely, but with how the Giants and Cowboys have been playing there is a slim chance.

I posted before there Lambshot.

Defense got exposed for what they are. Romeo called a great game. Ran the ball extremely well and Orton did what he does when he's not pressured. You can't expect guys in the NFL to be able to cover that long. I think Orton was able to mix a couple cocktails back there while he decided who to throw to. Their D got pressure without much blitzing on a beat up O -line. Rodgers couldn't step up in the pocket much and got pounded. Packers just looked like they were going through the motions against a fired up Chiefs. Maybe this will light a fire under their ass. I don't want to overreact, but I've had concerns about the d all year... the difference in this game was they couldn't rely on the offense to cover up their lack of pressure and Orton didn't make any mistakes which they've really keyed on this year. The wind looked wicked, but it really didn't seem to affect the Chiefs, so I don't know. I don't like excuses anyway. You don't show up to play, you don't deserve to win.

I hate SD(especially Rivers), but them beating the Ravens helps the Pats. Now the Steelers need to lose tonight and Pats will be in the drivers seat for the #1 seed
