Whether Braun juiced or not, I could give a crap. I'm not going to try and defend him... maybe he did, maybe he didn't. I don't take stock in athletes anyways... I'm not 12 and going to defend some dude that's probably a pompous ass and could care less about the fans. However, as a Brewer fan I hope he respects the game enough to stay clean and represent the team I grew up watching. Also, I do like the fact he's raking this year and making all the naysayers eat shit now that Phat Phielder is gone.

Brewers Make a Move

Brewers and Phillies are 4 back of the 2nd wild card. Believe in the Brew Crew yet P Train?

They have made a nice run that has gone under the radar by many. I actually liked this team more than last years... it just didn't pan out... yet. I think they can do it. In the very least, gave me hope for next year. I like what they have in place right now... besides the bullpen. You?

Brewers Make a Move

Postby Jammer » September 12th, 2012, 8:05 am

Phillies are really hot and I am sure with their pedigree other playoff teams do not want them in

I am enjoying their run but fear it is too late. On the plus side they have a pretty weak schedule the rest of the way.

I feel the same about it being too late... but its fun, as you mentioned. I thought the Crew was done a month or so back.

They are perhaps the worst pitching staff I have ever seen. What a train wreck this year.

Yeah, well, I knew it would most likely come eventually... unlike most Brewer fans.

As a Brewer fan, though not a huge fan because I just don't care that much for baseball, I'm disappointed in this whole Braun thing. The fact that MLB and the Brewers are both commending him for his admission is bullshit. Braun's apology was bullshit. The guy cheated -- but worse, he then lied about it -- over and over. I hate cheaters. I hate liars. I hate hypocrites.

Had Braun admitted to PED use when it first came up, shown some contrition, and humbly accepted his punishment, I could forgive that. Though with the way he let this play out, I'd like to see him stripped of his MVP and suspended not only for this season but for all of next season. Maybe even fine him his entire salary for the year he got his MVP and have it donated to children's sports leagues.

Well said Clem. By doing this now he is getting a shorter suspension. The evidence the league has must be overwhelming for this jackass to do this.
