NBA lockout

Postby Lambshot23 » September 23rd, 2011, 10:21 am

I can honestly say I don't care if the NBA ever reaches an agreement or plays again. It is sad because in my youth I did enjoy watching the games, I just have no love for the sport anymore.

What do you guys think?

I am in the same boat as you. I used to love the NBA, maybe even more than football back in the 80's and 90's. Now, I really could not care less if they never play again.

Will chime in with the same opinion. I used to love the NBA back in the 80s and 90s but the game today is a poor shooting, me first game that I can't tolerate. Scores ranging around 75 - 80 a game aren't what I enjoyed back in the day.

I think it's great, actually. Less competition for viewers during the NHL playoffs, maybe we'll get hockey back on real TV channels.

If I watch any basketball it's college, have never been a fan of the NBA. They can stay shut down as long as they like.

Stern is an arrogant prick who is too full of himself to see his game has gone to shit. It's the same garbage as the And1 crap that used to be relegated to 3 am weekends on ESPN2. Now, they're all me first, and want nothing more than endorsements, and it's killed the quality of the game. Personally, I think the NBA needs the 3 years out of high school rule that the NFL has if they ever want to be worth watching again.

Until then, I could care less about the NBA.

I don't know if I could care any less about the NBA. I can't remember the last game I watched on TV and it's probably been 20 years since I've seen a game in person.

The last game I went to was to see Jordan in a Wizards uniform.

I coach high school basketball and am a passionate college basketball fan. I could care less about NBA and maybe watch one or two playoff games (4th quarters at least) a year.

The last game I went to see was Julius Irving's last game. My freshman year at Marquette. The Bucks knocked the Sixers out of the playoffs.

I've always been a big NBA fan but I'm going to try and not watch anything this year. They can go fuck themselves. I didn't even know they had reached an agreement because I've stopped caring enough to read anything about it. Fucking assholes. Who gives a shit about half a season.

I just read an article that was all 'thank god for the Christmas game, so we have time to rescue our fans back from the NFL' and it's like....what are you smoking? The NFL is pretty damn exciting this year. Sorry guys, you lose.
