Roku (or similiar)

My father in law is looking for the most simple box he can get to stream Netflix in his bedroom. Doesn't need a ton of features just needs to do this. Suggestions? I know they have a lot of models and even see older ones on the market so just curious to get your thoughts.

I bought a Roku for my mom who has trouble finding the power button on a remote and she's able to use it. I bought the lowest-end model, she uses it exclusively for Netflix. I don't have the time or patience to train her to use any of the other apps.

There are other media players out there that are good, but none are as simple as Roku. You missed a couple on the Woot Off yesterday.

That's what I need. I want to set this thing and have him not have to do anything ever again.

 nice. Yeah, not worrying about turning it on is half the battle.

what is funny about that to me is, it's a nice feature made to make it simple yet my over-thinking ass spent a half hour trying to figure out how to turn it off before I read that...you don't
