Egypt, Bahrain...Wisconsin

Talk about anything that doesn't fit in any other forum. Keep it clean, legal and civil. Leave the stupidity at the door.

lol... of course it is. What is funny is that the northern half of Wisconsin has some awful rural poverty that never get's addressed by either party really... except when they want mines to come in and don't want to take the local people's views into consideration. I really don't think either party really cares and I really wish that someone would come in and make genuine changes for the good of the state... either side, or independent. Walker made some changes that actually have made sense, but I think he went too far and didn't do them except to line the pockets of others... and I think that's the case for the Democrats as well, except they line union pockets and other special interest groups.

As Suicidal Tendencies once said, "Which way to free?" but people will continue to vote one way or the other because both parties know that as long as they continue to blame the other that people will focus on one party as the monster, when both IMO are equally cancerous for the nation.

Wow... I looked back and see that I am a broken record. Sorry... it just gets overwhelmingly frustrating at times that maybe apathy would be the best choice.

True... but it just seems like the same flipping merry-go-round. I mean, if you actually get someone that aspires to change things, do they even have a chance because everyone else in the system is so tied to party affiliation? I mean, people get ostracized in politics nowadays because they are actually willing to try and work with someone outside their party? wtf is that? Isn't that the basis of gov't?

Honestly, I'm just terribly fatigued by all of the partisanship. This has become such a divided state and it really makes me sad. If I never see or hear another political ad, I'll be quite okay with that.

It is awful... I don't even have cable and now it pops up on youtube... sucks. We need a purple team called Republocrat! but I'm sure they'd argue that it wasn't Demolican.

Um, yeah, you don't have to tell me. Last Democrat to win the presidency w/out winning Ohio was Kennedy.

Last Republican?

Lincoln.

And now this:

effrey Radle of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin was hospitalized on Tuesday after his wife Amanda Radle hit him with the family SUV, leading to head, neck and back injuries.

According to Chippewa Falls Police Chief Wendy L. Stelter the couple had been arguing over the gubernatorial recall election primary. According to Stelter:

“She was planning on voting for a certain candidate, and it wasn’t the candidate he wanted her to vote for.”

Amanda, 30, attempted to pull out of the family driveway when Jeffrey, 36 tried to block her. According to a police department statement Jeffrey didn’t want Amanda to vote against Scott Walker who Jeffrey believed should remain in office.

The report says Jeffrey was “nudged” by his wife and would “retreat and re-establish his ground” and “at one point he climbed onto the hood.”

When Mrs. Radle finally attempted to actually leave Jeffrey Radle jumped in front of the SUV and was hit.

In a moment of redneck rage Radle’s brother Mike said of the recall:

“These crazy liberal nuts are always pulling this crap.”

This apparently isn’t the first time police have been called to the residence.

In the meantime the Chippewa County district attorney’s office is investigating the case and could press charges. As the police chief rightfully proclaims:

“To think that people would become that distraught over an election is very concerning.”

Perhaps someone should educate Mr. Radle about the seriousness of voter intimidation laws in the United States, a felony over such a silly incident probably wouldn’t look great on his record.
