I'm going to skip the official category ratings and just gush. If you haven't had a beer from Southern Tier, they tend to make things over the top and this is no exemption. From the smell to the taste, I think this is the perfect beer. Imagine if you took all the best things from Nutella, brownies and Tootsie Rolls and made a beer out of them. I will venture to say that anything past one glass will instantly make you diabetic but it's worth it. Also the alcohol content is up there so it's deceivingly strong for something so sweet. It is also fairly malty so the sweet doesn't ruin the beer but really creates a perfect balance. If you like chocolate, find this beer.

Can I give it more than 5 stars?

I've never been a fan of chocolate flavored beers.....just because I don't think I'll chocolate and beer together.

Still, I just may have to give it a try

They are actually a great pairing if you like stouts.

I tried Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout a few weeks ago and have a bottle of the Espresso Oak Aged waiting for (hopefully) this weekend. Curious to see how much coffee flavor comes through.

Have you had nugget nectar yet? I hear it's the greatest thing since the invention of beer.

Negative. Looks like they have it at Total Wine up in Jax. Total Wine is suppoidly a mecca for craft beer, or so I am told. I am planning a trip in the near future to get some selections unavailable locally, I will put it on the list.
