They are making it sound like it's a lot more story-based, like from the very beginning. It is Bioware after all. I don't expect to be finding plants to make pancake batter for a magical cook.

Oh also--from what I read, you will be able to assign your companions to do the menial shit like crafting things and collecting materials. I'm not sure exactly how it will work but the quote i read was something along the lines of 'you are the hero, and that's what your companions are there for'

I was totally going to avoid this game..

but after playing the beta.. i'm totally buying it..

anyone get into the Beta yet?

Domo is already a walking Wiki on this game. He told me last night that there are certain points in the game, I forget what they're called (not boss battles, but that's kind of what they are), where up to 4 players can party up and work together.

What kind of a computer do you need to run this game? I am interested but do not want to sink any cash into a new setup. I can run WOW on my laptop fine now.
