Baltimore Orioles: I am going to use this topic to post my high hopes for Noland Reimold….Reimold appears as if he could very well be ready to play lF everyday for the Orioles very soon. Reimold could very well hit 15 HR’s a season and bat .280 in my opinion and I am giving a low estimate….He could very well be a guy that hits 30 HR’s a season and be an All Star on a regular basis. The thought blows away your thinking, a lineup in 2011 that starts off and finishes looking like this is not far from real…..
Lineup:
1-2nd BROB .280 40 SB
2-CF Jones .285 25 HR
3-RF Markakis .300 25 HR
4-LF Reimold .285 30 HR
5-C Wieters .300 30 HR
6-DH Montanez .290 20 HR
7-1st Snyder .310 15 HR
8-3rd, several candidates, Moore, Salazar, can Turner play 3rd?,Costanza, Henson
9-SS at this point you could afford to keep Ceasar at SS or the new kid unless Turner can play SS?
Pitching:
1-Guthrie
2-Bergesen
3-Tillman
4-Matusz
5-Arreita
6-Hernadez
7-Berken
Team salary would be low but the future bright, 2011-2013 the team will compete, during those years is when the farm will really start to load up and any trade is not unthinkable except teams will be knocking down the door to trade top prospects for what the Orioles have making for a solid system from top to bottom and making the Orioles a legit franchise for years to come. *The names I just mentioned don’t include prospects on the lower minor league levels….
