It looks like the Chiefs are gearing up for a nice run for the next few years. They recently acquired Matt Cassel who looks to be their franchise quarterback for years to come. The move seemed to have been sparked by the recent hiring of Scott Pioli as General Manager, who looks to have had a nice impact on the Patriots’ franchise since joining in 2000. Most importantly, the Chiefs have rid themselves of the Herm Edwards era, and began the offensive mastermind behind the high-flying Cardinal attack of last year era with the hiring of new head coach Todd Haley. What can Todd Haley bring to the table? The Chiefs do have some star power in the passing game with first team All-Pro tight end Tony Gonzalez and first round pick of the 2007 draft wide receiver Dwayne Bowe. Don’t receivers usually shine in their third year?
